Description

Birds Eye Maple is extremely rare and occurs in less than 1% of maple trees.  It is rarely seen in hardwood flooring with the possible exception of small borders, medallions, and pattern material.  It is more commonly used in high end furniture and other small woodworks.  At Gaylord Hardwood Flooring you can have your entire floor done in the rarest and most unique wood available. The circa 1850 stain is a deep brown and very rich looking finish.  It is a two pass stain containing black which makes the grain stand out against the dark brown and makes for a beautiful combination.
